In applying for this Rhema Recovery 12-Step based program, it is our belief that the person organising and facilitating the program should have personally experienced the concepts of this or AA style program in their own life. We have a strong belief that it is nearly impossible for a person to give away to another a process that he himself has not experienced, BUT this not an absolute requirement. We will look at exceptions to this general rule on a case-by-case basis.

Comments From Participants

We started the 12 steps for Jesus programme over a year ago. Since then some have been converted, helped the church welcome young men on their journey out of addiction and has been the basis for a new church plant.

Leader Rev’d Jonathan Couper

It has been an encouragement to me in that we appear to be on the right track in dealing with addicts.

The course is practical, informative and just long enough. It’s been a day well spent! Thank you.

I’m looking forward to learning more about implementing the course.

I learnt a lot in one day in understanding totally what addiction is all about and how best to help other people.

Being with genuine experienced people who were able to share the joy of seeing people set free from addictions is inspiring.

Learnt a lot about the different behaviours we will encounter and how we can deal with them in a compassionate way. I would highly recommend RHM and their training.
