RECOMMENDATIONS FROM PARTICIPANTS

We started the 12 steps for Jesus programme over a year ago. Since then some have been converted, helped the church welcome young men on their journey out of addiction and has been the basis for a new church plant.

Christ Church, Bridlington
Leader Rev’d Jonathan Couper
It has been an encouragement to me in that we appear to be on the right track in dealing with addicts
I’m looking forward to learning more about implementing the course.
Being with genuine experienced people who were able to share the joy of seeing people set free from addictions is inspiring.
I found it all informative and easy to get involved and I would recommend RHM to others because it goes more in-depth than the AA & NA formats; this course is needed.
The course is practical, informative and just long enough. It’s been a day well spent! Thank-you.
I learnt a lot in one day in understanding totally what addiction is all about and how best to help other people
Learnt a lot about the different behaviours we will encounter and how we can deal with them in a compassionate way. I would highly recommend RHM and their training.
Thought I was maybe out of my depth in wanting to start a 12-Step in our community. Yet receiving the training from RHM I am assured that not only is it viable option, with the on going training I feel confident we will be successful.
Having being a alcoholic for over 20yrs and tried different AA style meetings and rehab, I have truly found a course that has got to the roots of my addiction problems. I not only know why I turned to alcohol but for the first time in years I feel alive.
Mr.J...This client is now in full-time work having been out of work for over 8yrs.

In applying for this RHM Recovery 12-Step based program, it is our belief that the person organising and facilitating the program should have personally experienced the concepts of this or AA style program in their own life. We have a strong belief that it is nearly impossible for a person to give away to another a process that he himself has not experienced, BUT this not an absolute requirement. We will look at exceptions to this general rule on a case-by-case basis.
